Rakesh "Rick" Patel started training dogs competitively since 1989. He started his career in High Level AKC obedience with consist 1st place wins for all 3 levels in AKC. His biggest highlight as a teenager was winning at a Gaines Nationals Youth competition for AKC obedience. Shortly thereafter he started to learn Schutzhund and Personal Protection from his long time mentor, Edward Nurse, and became training decoy for club dogs in Central Virginia.
He also attended various clubs in Europe where he was able to train and learn with some of the greatest Schutzhund trainers in the World like Helmut Raiser, Josef Kuhn, Roger Snollaerts and Gerard Van Es.
In the mid-90s, Mr. Patel transitioned over to the Ring Sports getting firsthand experience in Belgium Ring while training and decoying at the Tournai Club in Belgium.
While training in Belgium Ring and importing dogs from Europe, he had the chance to train with Rik Wolterbeek and Nico Poen in KNPV program and expand his experience of working dogs for police and military work.
In 2003, Rick competed at the Protection Sports Associations (PSA) Annual National Championships. With a field of highly respected Trainers and Competitors from across the Nation, Rick placed 1st in the PSA 1 Open Division.
Rick travels throughout Europe and establishes business relations with accredited individuals in the canine industry. This allows him to offer a wider selection of dogs, to suit the needs of clients, police and military.

Michel Peetjens needs no introduction to the USA. Michel is the owner and founder of kennel, "From Mike's Place." He is well known for producing very impressive malinois. that are suitable for sport, security, and police work. Mr. Peetjens has worked as a security dog handler for the English Army, a security firm in Holland, and has now devoted his time to building his line of malinois and training equipment.
